(We don’t recommend doing this unless you’ve done a full scan and are not connected to the Internet.) It may even be advantageous to temporarily shut down virus software. When playing back a project, if the audio sounds like it is starting and stopping quickly, it could be because the computer is over tasked due to other programs running at the same time. Another program may be using the sound card at the same time.Load the volume control that came with your sound card and make sure that the Wave device is turned up and not muted.Refer to your sound card documentation to track down the problem.
